Indie online news blog seeks writers in the following areas:

Politics: presidential campaign
Film & TV: Sci fi/Fantasy & Drama
Music: Rap/Hip Hop, Indie/Alternative/Electronic, Pop
Print: Fiction; Non-Fiction

We require of our writers:
- 1 Post per week
- Topics and themes will be discussed, but obviously will be aimed at the branch you are covering
- Length of posts should be 100-300 words

These are paid positions. We will be paying $5 per post.

We will give more specific topic information, instructions, etc. to qualified applicants.

1. Prepare 2 sample posts of not more than 250 words for the areas you want to write in.

2. Write up a paragraph or so about yourself, any related experience, why you would make a good fit for this writing job.

3. Email editors@popdecay.com with your intro, experience and samples as the body of the email. Please do not send attachments. Please make the subject "_____ blogging job", specifying the area you wish to write in.

If you don't follow instructions we will not consider you for the job.
