Description

PC World is looking for experienced part-time bloggers to contribute mornings to
PCWorld.com's Today@PCWorld blog.

Pay is $15 a blog entry (150-200 words) with the expectation of filing 5-8 blogs entries each week. Bloggers can earn more after a 30-day tryout.

The goal is to create daily blog entries covering the consumer technology world.

We are especially interested in experienced bloggers who have an area of expertise such as Microsoft, Computer Security, Tech Legislation.

Ideal blog entries range from hardware and software news announcements to first-person perspectives on the day's headlines such as privacy breeches, product/service announcements, or proposed tech-related legislation.

Bloggers would receive blog assignments and also be expected to pitch their own ideas.

Qualifications:
* Excellent writing and reporting skills: prose with flair and a dash of
humor too
* An analytical mind: the ability to read between the numbers and tell a
story
* Love of technology: interest in all things technology from games,
gadgets, culture, and news
* Internet savvy: ability to spot stories, trends, and communicate a
unique perspective

Bloggers work remotely, however would be in close contact with Boston-based PC World editors.
