Position Summary:

Objective of the position is to increase readership through Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques. The Biz-News.com marketer will be responsible for maximizing Biz-News online Medias web presence.



Incumbent will review Biz-News.com Medias utilizing web analytics, while analyzing the information to create testing & personalization initiatives to drive readership, membership increase close ratio, and reduce site abandonment. Through this process, the Biz-News.com marketer will create an optimization schedule and execute on it. Results analysis with the implementation of corrective measures will also be undertaken.




Responsibilities lie also in:

• ensuring Biz-News.com presence on industry Medias and Blogs through regular posts,


• publishing relevant articles for each Media under the supervision of our Editor.

The Biz-News.com Internet marketer will work closely with Biz-News.com team and under the company CEO guidance.



Responsibilities:

• Review all current SEO/SEM initiatives, propose and implement new solutions


• Review sites using Biz-News.com analytics tool and reports


• Create an optimization plan


• Execute the testing & personalization initiatives outlined in the optimization plan


• Track, report, and analyze test results



• Present the testing observations and recommendations to Biz-News.com team


• Implement ROI-based initiatives based on the findings


• Revise and optimize the program throughout the life of the program


• Manage the overall execution of all tracking and reporting pieces for the site optimization program


• Receive, read and decide for publishing daily industry press releases


• Under guidance of Editor, publish relevant press releases in each of Biz-news.com media



• Write under Biz-News.com various Medias names comments, advices, input on relevant industry blogs


• Promote Biz-News.com Medias by all relevant, creative and legal means on the Internet

Key Qualifications:

• Motivation and understanding of the online Media value chain


• Knowledge of Web Analytics tools and Site Optimization techniques



• Currently undergoing a university degree (marketing, business or communications preferred).


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specially in English


• Proven strong analytical skills


• Efficient use of Excel


• Excellent time management skills


• Knowledge of multiple online marketing programs (email, paid search, affiliate, social networking, blogs, etc.) preferred but not requested



• Having an existing network in social networking sites (digg, propeller, mixx), or a blog or any other kind of online experience.
