Are you a blogger with ambitions to be a published writer?

The Bloggers Guide (http://www.thebloggersguide.com/about) is seeking bloggers to write city blogs online and edit the corresponding published city guidebooks.

We will consider applications from any world capital city but we are immediately seeking editors for the following cities:

Europe

London
Paris
Berlin
Barcelona
Rome

North America

New York
Boston
Miami
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Vancouver
Toronto

Rest of World:

Melbourne
Sydney
Cape Town

Requirements:

Writing blog posts about their cities that fall into one of a number of categories: eg, Daily Life, What’s On, Top Tips etc etc.

Sourcing the best external posts and blogs about the city from the blogosphere, and including them in the directory and “Posts to Promote” section.

Organising the best blog posts from both inhouse and external blogs into a structured format for offline publication (templates and page plans are provided)

Writing introduction and other short articles for publication in the offline guidebooks.

Payment:

Is threefold:

Payment per post written on thebloggersguide.com

Fixed fee for editing the offline guidebook

A further % royalty from the offline guidebook sales.

How to apply

The name of the city you are applying for.

Links to blogs and posts written by you - they do not necessarily have to be about your city, it is your writing style and observation we are looking for.

Links to the three best city blogs you know of about your city. (See http://directory.thebloggersguide.com for examples of what we are looking for)

The five best blog posts about your city - they do not have to be from a city blog, they just have to show the reader something interesting about the city.
