Patriot Missive is a daily news blog created by Operation Iraqi Freedom veterans and we’re looking to add one or two more contributors to our growing military, politics, and news site. We need someone who values community, involvement in current events, and above all, snark!

Requirements:

* You are a military veteran of either the Iraq (OIF) or Afghanistan (OEF) wars.
* We prefer your political leanings are center-left although we don’t mind internal conflicts. Sometimes they make things more exciting. No wingnuts, please.
* You are well informed about news and politics.
* You can contribute at least five posts per week although more are welcomed.

Compensation:

Currently, Patriot Missive is generating enough income to cover hosting and maintenance fees but we are willing to negotiate a percentage of future profits as the site continues to grow.

* A few sample posts or writings you’ve done about the military/politics/current events. I’m simply looking to see if you can complete a full sentence here.
