ACP Magazines
is looking for aPC system blogger
Description
We're after an energetic blogger who can post daily or every couple of days on new PC system releases. (Note, we're not interested in posts about specific components such as video cards here, but rather complete systems such as new Dell Inspiron Mini or ASUS Eee Shell.)
We are Australia's largest magazine publisher and this freelance blogging position is on our leading technology news site, which gets very high volume daily traffic. The site is targeted at consumers, not business, so the stuff you'd be covering would be the interesting/fun stuff!
You can be based anywhere in the world as long as you have good written English.
What you get:
- Exposure on a very high traffic tech news site with a global audience.
- Payment of $US10 per post direct to your bank account monthly (we cover international wire transfer fees). Note, we unfortunately cannot pay by PayPal or cheque.
- Frequency is up to you: we'd like to see a post a day, but we're flexible and understand that bloggers often juggle many commitments.
How to apply
Email Dan Warne at ACP Magazines -- dwarne@acpmagazines.com.au -- explaining:
- your writing experience to date with links to previous blog posts or articles (just two or three will do)
- your interest in PC hardware and tech
- your top 3 favourite tech news sites and why
- a few ideas of stories you'd suggest writing for us.
