Home & Garden Blogger - Job Filled

Category: Co-blogging

Description

Hello!

I'm looking for someone to take over three of my blogs for the summer, possibly longer. I'm sure I'll still pop in and post from time to time, but I want to take a break for a few months to see if I can get a novel written and apply some of my internet marketing knowledge to promoting my own stories instead of just trying to make money with Adsense. ;)

There are three blogs I'd like you to post on this summer:

Home Improvement Ideas: 3 x a day M-Fri

http://www.luxuryhousingtrends.com (short posts of 150-200 words, very broad subject matter of "home improvement ideas").

Home Security Beat: 2 x week

http://www.homesecurityinformation.com/blog/ (longer article-style posts of 500 words or so with a focus on home security, safety, home surveillance, etc. )

Off the Urban Grid: 3 x week

http://offtheurbangrid.com/ (article-style posts of 300-500 words covering urban homesteading--organic vegetable gardening, energy conservation, beekeeping, cottage industries, keeping livestock in the city, etc.)

All posts should have at least one picture with them, so you need to be able to find appropriate images and edit them so they’re small enough to insert in a post.

In total you'll be writing 3 short posts and 1 long post a day, Monday through Friday.

This really shouldn't take more than an hour to two a day, especially once you're familiar with the topics and get some Google alerts set up and what not. (I often get ideas just from browsing magazines or checking out home and garden books from the library.)

The pay is $500 a month, starting June 1st and going at least through August 31st.

(If things work out well, it's very possible that we can make this a long term arrangement.)

How to apply

Email sylvanarrow@comcast.net with links to your blogs and/or articles you've written. Also tell me a bit about yourself and your experience. (Knowledge of the home and garden industry is a plus but not required!)

I am looking for examples that show solid grammar, useful content, and your comfort in working with Wordpress and an image editor (GIMP, photoshop, etc.).
