Description

Looking for a blogger to augment content at a site dedicated to high-end Victorian furniture (antiques).

I am looking to fill two positions (can be the same applicant or I may take two)

1. Write a weekly blog post for the main blog about activity in the antique forum/message board (Victorianforum.com) summarizing the user activity and linking to specific forum posts. This is essentially a weekly highlights post to drive more traffic from the main blog to the forum. ($20/post)

2. Write a weekly blog post about activity in various auction houses that are coming up. Specifically this post should highlight date/times/locations where antique furniture is coming up for sale in specific auctions that would be of interest to our niche readers. I will provide a list of the usual auction sites to monitor. The blog post would mention dates/times/locations of the sale and provide example images of what is being put up for sale. ($25/post)

Antique familiarity is not required but would provide you advantageous consideration.

There may be weeks where a post for either position will not be required, so weekly work is not guaranteed, but should be likely most of the time.

How to apply

Send examples of your writing: either a list of urls of blog posts you have done in the past or by attaching documents to an email at: info at rarevictorian.com

Provide a description of your background, education, and relevant blogging experience and antique background/experience (not required, but beneficial)
