Description

I am looking for writers who can submit to me real stories of either their identity being stolen, or someone else that you know whose identity was stolen. What we are looking for is the following:

* What happened and how did they get your identity (if you know this)
* What did the thief do with your identity
* How long did it take before you figured out that your identity was compromised?
* How long did it take to restore your credit and what did that involve?
* How have you personally dealt with this?

Your account can be humorous, serious, or simply a narrative, but keep in mind that readers will want to be able to relate with you. You should write in a relaxed manner, but keep your writing clean.

Submissions need to be at least 400 words in length (although we are placing an emphasis on articles that are well told rather than meeting a certain minimum word requirement). All submissions can be made at http://www.identitytheftchat.com/share-your-story/. All accepted articles will receive payment BEFORE the articles are published. Most articles are reviewed within 24 hours and payment is made immediately after the article is reviewed and accepted.
