eReleases, a leading press release distribution platform, is looking for a freelance writer to provide site content, articles, email, and blog entries that focus on social media, PR, and all things press release-related.

You MUST be able to write exciting copy that is free of hype. I personally like a contrarian, devil's advocate take on things.

The ideal candidate will have experience in public relations (PR), marketing, communications, and/or journalism. This is a work at home position that will require weekly check-ins by email and/or phone.

The ideal candidate has experience in writing, blogging, and PR.

The writer should be able to write content that is engaging and friendly to search engines. Pluses include those already active in the PR blogging community. Check out http://www.ereleases.com/prfuel/ for an idea of types of articles and style, especially those with 4 or more retweets.

- This job is project/deadline driven but expected to take a full 20 hours a week

Responsibilities:
• Brainstorm article topics to be approved
• Write 4-6 articles per week (400-600 minimum words)
• Assist in development of email and website copy
• Develop and compile small features and resources for weekly newsletter

Skills:
• Track record of writing compelling copy
• Good understanding of social media
• Excellent understanding of PR & press releases
• Social media promotion/engagement

Compensation:
• $1500/ month with bonuses for traffic & revenue growth
