StatCom has created the next generation hospital operations system which incorporates technology, methodology, and mindset change into a proven solution that delivers substantial bottom and quality results to hospitals. The resulting strategic partnership with hospitals enables all patients simultaneously to flow at their best possible rate with respect to LOS, service times, quality, safety, and resource consumption. As the Vice President of Marketing, you will have the opportunity to create and drive the strategic marketing and new media plan for this early stage, high-growth healthcare software company. This position will work closely with engineering, sales, product marketing and corporate to create and position strategic company messaging in the market place. ABOUT STATCOM:
StatCom, through process re-engineering and enabling software, helps Hospitals transform their operation to deliver efficient patient throughput, reduced ALOS, and improved physician, patient, & staff satisfaction. The resulting Hospital Operating SystemTM enables hospitals to solve patient throughput and capacity management challenges by executing dynamically prioritized actions spanning the entire hospital. This enables ALL patients to collectively flow at their best possible rate with regard to quality, service, safety, and resource consumption. As a result, operational and financial performance is maximized while greatly enhancing physician affinity and the patient experience. Within the first 12 months, clients have realized 14% reductions in ALOS, $8.6 million in cost savings, and significant increases in admissions for total ROI impacts of greater than $10 million. Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
** Drives the development of marketing plans and programs, both short and long range.
** Executes on marketing plan specifics with the goal of improving customer acquisition, retention, and market share.
** Evaluates customer research, market conditions, and competitor data – providing feedback to EVP regarding adjustments to the marketing plan as necessary.
** Researches, analyzes, and monitors competitive, technological, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized.
** Creates and builds the company strategic marketing and new media plan.
** Writes and edits content and manages the company website.
** Creates and manages the company’s trade and national media relations.
** Develop relationships with key industry bloggers
** Writes and edit articles, white papers, eBooks, case studies, reports and surveys for Healthcare industry consumption.
** Works with internal and external specialists to write, design and produce marketing collateral.
** Responsible for the implementation of marketing campaigns across all mediums
** Collaborates with outside advertising agencies on ongoing campaigns.
** Works with writers and artists to assist with copywriting, design, layout, paste-up, and production of promotional materials.
** Supports the development and implementation of the PR plan, including media efforts, and mailings.
** Assists with responses to RFI’s and RFP’s.
** Supports the CRM (SalesForce) application, including providing prospect / lead support to sales throughout the sales cycle.
** Advises EVP as to market reactions to marcomm initiatives to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
** Conducts marketing surveys on current and new product concepts.
** Prepares marketing activity reports, including cost to budget performance.
Skills
> 5+ years experience in a Marketing leadership role, with demonstrable strategic and marketing plan execution ability.
> Demonstrated ability to write, design and produce marketing collateral in online and traditional media
> Minimum of 1 year of participation in major online social networks (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter).
> 3+ years copy writing materials for websites.
> Experience as a blogger or contributor to industry related blogs required
> Experience producing and managing web videos
> Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred
> Copywriting ability/experience helpful
> Experience managing press releases.
> Experience writing and editing speeches
> Position requires independent thinking and excellent judgment, including the ability deal with several projects concurrently.
> Adaptability to change and a flexible approach are necessary as > > >

> Requires some travel related to client sites for market research and to trade shows
