Springwise, the world's leading source of new business ideas, is seeking a bright, dedicated and energetic new editor, based in London. This is a full-time position.

You must know and love entrepreneurial innovation, and be able to write with authority about a wide range of business ideas. You can spot what makes a service or product unique, and present it in such a way that our readers are inspired to launch or grow their own businesses. We write for a global (business) audience and you have an equally global outlook. And while you'll be in charge of running Springwise, much of the work is hands-on. Whatever needs to be done -- you'll be doing it.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Research and write daily content
• Edit and publish posts, including images
• Assign topics to our freelance writers
• Publish a weekly newsletter for over 100,000 subscribers
• Filter submissions from our network of 8,000 Springspotters
• Liaise with our advertising partners
• Build traffic and community
• Keep the website running smoothly
• Monitor and analyze web traffic
• Maintain and grow our social media presence

QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years working at an online business publication
• Business or marketing background
• Native English speaker with flawless writing skills
• Basic knowledge of other languages is an advantage
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, blogging tools, image optimization, web hosting, etc
• Strong organizational skills
• Obsessive attention to detail
• Must be based in London (UK)
• Full-time availability starting March 2010
• Happy to work on your own. Although you'll be sharing an office with a few staff members from our other company, the Springwise team is you + one or two freelance writers
