Health Politics and Wellness Bloggers Needed

Category: Miscellaneous

Description

Hey, Jon Morrow from Copyblogger here.

I'm looking for 3-5 writers to help one of my consulting clients start a blog about health politics and wellness. In general, we're looking for writers with two separate areas of expertise:

1. Health politics and insurance law. You'll break down complicated legal and political topics, comparing opinions from different experts and explaining what things really mean. The goal here isn't to "indoctrinate" people toward a certain way of thinking, but to provide facts and links to well thought out arguments.

2. Health and wellness tips. We're also looking for health and wellness experts who can provide insightful tips on issues like energy, fitness, natural remedies, and so on. Once again, the goal isn't to preach a specific approach but to provide a wide range of opinions, often comparing and contrasting the views of different experts.

These are PAID positions. We haven't decided on an exact amount yet, but my client will be paying by the post. in some cases, we might also consider a byline with a link back to your own website, allowing you to attract customers/readers from the articles you write.

How to apply

If you're interested in the position, here's what I need you to do:

1. Send me examples of blog posts or articles you've written. You're welcome to send me a link, if the article is online. Otherwise, please send all examples in Microsoft Word or PDF format.

2. Tell me about your experience. You don't have to be an expert with impeccable credentials, although that's certainly a plus. We're open to accepting articles to anyone with an in depth knowledge of health, including experienced nutritionists, fitness trainers, researchers, journalists, and workers in the insurance industry.

3. If you have a blog, please send me a link to it, even if it has nothing to do with health or wellness. It'll help me gauge your writing ability.

In general, we'll only be hiring experts with far above average writing skills for these positions. If you've never written a blog post or article before, or you have no experience working in the health industry, then this probably isn't the job for you. The goal here is to create the foremost health and wellness blog in the world, and to do that, we'll need the writers who can offer sound but also captivating advice that people will want to read day after day for years to come.

If you believe that's you, then please send all of the above information to JonMorrowJobs@Gmail.com, along with any questions you might have.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,

Jon Morrow
