Do you have skills that include programming in Ruby and /or Ruby on Rails, Perl, database administration, XHTML/JS/CSS, XML, and APACHE? Are you familiar with PHP and the blogging software Movable Type's Programmatic Interfaces (XML-RPC APIs and plug-in creation) or can you quickly learn these skills?

We are looking for producers - people who not only love to write code, but also have the drive to make the application live and functional. You will need to show your expertise in programming web applications and accessing databases. We will want to see examples of applications you have written and that are functioning.

We would like you full-time but will consider part-time if you are the right fit. We are flexible and you may do much of your work from home. However, we will need a minimum of 20 hours per week.

* Job Description
- Develop online tools and applications
- Programming for web applications
- Work on small programming team
- Work closely with business team to support weblog publishing

* Required Skills
- Ruby/Ruby on Rails
- MySQL (experience working with any database preferred, Postgresql useful)
- XHTML/Javascript/CSS/XML/PHP
- Perl programming helpful (knowledge of language, regular expressions, perl objects, DBI)
- Self-starter
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Willingness and ability to communicate
- Must have access to your own computer and have high speed internet access

* Compensation
We pay people commensurate with their experience and their ability to contribute. If you are good, you get paid. There will be substantial opportunities to advance and increase compensation as you prove yourself. Know More Media offers stock options for full-time employees. Intern potential as appropriate.

Part or full-time hourly position with flexible hours 4-8 hours a day 5 days a week
