Tech Writer With Industry Experience

Category:

Description

Techopedia.com is a tech terms dictionary and website for IT professionals. We're looking for a few tech-savvy writers with industry experience to write about what matters most in the world of information technology.

We’re not looking for tech news; we want content that will resonate with our audience of IT professionals and business decision makers. If you’re an IT professional, tech writer or industry expert who’s plugged in to tech industry trends and has the ability to make technical topics sing, we’d love to hear from you.

Applicants should be able to cover one or more of the following areas:

-Development (.NET, Java, Web)
-Networking (wireless, Lan/Wan, VoIP, unified communications)
-Support & Administration (servers, Windows, Linux, help desk)
-Enterprise (data center, storage, security, databases)
-Trends (cloud computing, virtualization, green computing, CRM/ERP, etc.)
-Other areas of expertise will be considered

Compensation is variable based on experience and subject matter difficulty.

How to apply

To apply, send us a resume, a brief paragraph explaining why you’re the right writer for the job, and an original first paragraph for an article you’d like to see on Techopedia. Previous experience as a tech writer is less important than the ability to write well and write competently on the subject, but if you have related clips, please include the links.

Send applications to jobs[at]janalta.com. Please include "Writer Job" in the subject line.
