Sportster.org is looking to hire a p/t wordpress blogger.

The ideal candidate has freelance writing experience with a motorcycle publication, but not necessary. Key ingredients are passion for Harley, work ethic, a concise and entertaining writing style and reliability. Salary is negotiable.

Requirements:

200 to 300 word max Monday to Friday blog posts that feature a mix of entertaining and
educational content for Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle owners and enthusiasts.

Ideally, each day of the week features a recurring type of article. For example, Friday
could be a simple entertainment piece, like a cartoon, video or even a Biker Babe of the
Week.

Other content pillars could include:
1) How-to articles (ex.: How to Prepare Your Sportster for Winter Storage)
2) Definition/jargon articles (ex.: What is the Harley Tax?)
3) Theory or Argument (ex.: Arguing against environmental legislation or noise bylaws,
anything that creates a little bit of controversy!)
4) List Articles (Top 10 Reasons to Own a Sportster, Top 10 Aftermarket Accessories for
Your Sportster)
5) Event coverage (coverage of Sturgis, Daytona, etc.)
6) Product Reviews
