Looking for half a dozen bloggers who can fill specific roles in a new venture launching in January!

General blogging topics:
* Unusual “offbeat” news
* Tech
* Nation and World
* Business and Money
* Entertainment
* Science and Health

These are broad roles we are trying to fill. We’re looking for people who are passionate about things INSIDE these topics. For example, if you’ve been writing about video games on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation, that fills the “Tech” role.

This job DOES entail extrapolating news to broader applications. Example: If you’ve been an avid video game blogger looking to fill the “Tech” role, be prepared to also write about Gadgets, General Tech News, Web, etc.

So in other words, if you’re passionate in this area of content, you’re probably following this stuff already!

Requirements:
* A deep passion and opinion for news in your area of expertise. We expect you to be able to form an intelligent viewpoint and convey new information. Be a strong voice!
* Must be able to post at least twice a day (200-400 words).
* Must be able to post between the early morning and mid-afternoon hours.
* Must have prior experience. (Team blogging is a plus.)
* Basic image editing skills also required.

These positions are paid per post at the end of every month. For the first six weeks or so, expect to post only once a day. This is an exciting Internet venture from people who have been active in this area for a while at other prominent web destinations. So get ready to launch something new!

3) One writing sample of current news for one of the blogging topics.
