b5media's movie blog, FilmGecko.com, is looking for a second writer who lives in the LA area (requirement).

The blogger will be an avid movie buff able to write 75+ posts per month with news of all sorts, including:
- new film announcements
- casting news
- on-set photos
- trailers
- now in theatres
- movie reviews
- now on DVD

In addition, the writer will have opportunities to arrange and attend movie premieres in LA. The ideal blogger will have some interview experience or will have attended premieres in the past.

Time spent on this blog will include writing, promotion, networking, and working on structured post formats such as rated reviews.

Knowledge of online post promotion a plus. Knowledge of Wordpress a plus. Knowledge of Image Editing (e.g. Photoshop) a must. This is a paid position.
